This portfolio opens with images from villages in northern Bangladesh given over to the dyeing and block printing of fabrics, the work done both indoors and out, and the finished material hung throughout the streets and fields to dry in the sun. It concludes with images from a district in Dhaka given over to the processing, dyeing and cutting of leather, the materials again spread throughout all available space in the area to cure and dry.
